Yakutat Eagles Coaching Staff Girls Basketball Charles Russell has been coaching the Yakutat Lady Eagles for the last four years.  His coaching experience began when the Lady Eagles rolled off two consecutive State championships however he was able to carry on a legacy of his own by leading the girls to it first undefeated season in 2009 and winning the Eagles 3rd consecutive state Championship. MSEC TOURNEY

MOUNT ST. ELIAS CLASSIC The first Mount St. Elias Classic Tournament was hosted by Yakutat in 1994 which featured boys and girls teams from Mt. Edgecumbe, Cordova, Heritage Christian, and the Yakutat Eagles. The original format was a round-robin, however this year’s Classic will be a 5-team double elimination bracket. Welcome to the Yakutat Alumni Association Website

The Yakutat Alumni Association (YAA) will have an innovative and energetic website this year. The YAA is a non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to provide recreation and athletic events for the community of Yakutat, Alaska. It was organized in 1989. Since then It has instigated a myriad of fund raising events to support the Yakutat School District with it’s athletic programs. The most exciting and significant event YAA organizes is the annual Mount Saint Elias Classic Basketball Tournament.
